How does it work?

Book in for a slot for 'Free Katsu' at Cardiff Monday - Thursday between 2nd June and 10th July 2025. It's first come, first served so be quick! If you can't see a slot on your chosen day, it's because we're already booked up on that day - take a look at other dates, as we may still have slots available!

On the day, you'll need to show the team your valid booking confirmation on arrival. Take your seat, order a side or starter and a drink, and we'll bring you your Katsu or Pad Thai of choice!

To claim this offer you must have made a booking under the ‘Cardiff Free Katsu Booking’ type on the Banana Tree Website 24 hours before your booking. This offer is not available for walk-ins, and we only have a select amount of slots each day, so it’s first come first served! To Qualify for your free Katsu or Pad Thai, each guest must order a minimum of 1 drink per person (soft or alcoholic, but excluding tap water) and one starter or side (excluding Edamame or Drug Egg). This offer entitles you to one Chicken or Vegan Katsu or one Pad Thai with a 'Cardiff Free Katsu Booking' at Banana Tree Cardiff between Monday 2nd June and Thursday 10th July 2025. This offer is restricted to one per guest, at tables of up to 6 guests. This offer is valid Monday - Thursday only on selected dates. Please let your server know at the point of ordering you wish to redeem this offer. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer, set menu, voucher, lunch menu or discount, including but not limited to ‘local legends’ ‘NHS’ ‘Student’ ‘Bluelight’ You cannot use any vouchers or discounts to pay for the chargeable items on your table. No cash value. Not valid on delivery, takeaway or click & collect. ID may be required. Any additional upgrades will be charged separately. You are welcome to order additional menu items, but these will be chargeable, but well worth it!
