Terms & Conditions

1. HOW TO BOOK: Banana Tree Festive menu is available for groups of 4 or more. All Bookings must be made in writing or via email. In order to confirm your party menu booking simply fill in the form and bring in/email it across 10 or more days before your booking date. A non-refundable £10 deposit per person is required. An enquiry does not constitute a booking.
2. HOW TO PAY & DEPOSITS:bookings can be paid in person by cash or card. We accept all major credit/debit cards supported by a valid pin including American Express. BACs payments can be made upon request. All deposits are non-refundable and will be redeemed against your final bill, with the exception of cancellations.
3. BOOKING TIMINGS & CANCELLATIONS:Maximum seating time for lunch/dinneris 2 hours. All cancellations must be made within 48 hours and confirmed in writing or by email. Tables will not be guaranteed for more than 20 minutes beyond the time booked. All tables will need to be vacated by the end of your agreed time of sitting.
4. INVOICING / BILLING: We regret that bills cannot be issued individually. One bill will be issued to the party organiser. Invoices will be provided for BACS payments. All prices include VAT.
5. No vouchers, offers or food promotions may be redeemed with Banana Tree Festive Menu.
6. The party organizer must ensure that all party members are aware of the booking terms & conditions.

Allergy Advice

You should always inform a senior member of staff of any dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances and we will inform you on the ingredients used in any of our dishes. However, although we describe as thoroughly as we can the food ingredients in our dishes, we cannot guarantee that traces of allergenic food never occur. This is due to the nature of our kitchen setup and use of kitchen equipment during our food preparation. We use eggs, dairy products, nuts, peanuts, gluten, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, sesame seeds, soya and celery in our kitchens. So if you have an intolerance or allergy to any products, especially those listed above, we recommend that you do not dine here, as much as we would love you to.

Please exercise your own discretion as we cannot accept responsibility should any traces of allergens be present in any of our dishes.

“Chow Down at Chelmsford” Competition Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility Banana Tree’s “Chow Down at Chelmsford” Competition is open to legal residents in the UK who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Banana Tree and other companies associated with the promotion of the competition, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.
2. Sponsor The “Chow Down at Chelmsford” Competition is sponsored by Banana Tree, 26 Cygnus Business Centre, Dalmeyer Rd, Church End &Roundwood, London NW10 2XA.
3. Agreement to Official Rules Participation in “Chow Down at Chelmsford” constitutes entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
4. Chow Down at Chelmsford– How to Enter Submissions will be accepted for the duration of “Chow Down at Chelmsford” through the online form. Entries will be accepted beginning on 11 September 2017, and the competition will close on 14 September 2017. Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address and per household for the duration of the competition. Entries received from any person, e-mail address or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void.
5. Prize Drawings and Winner Notification The Sponsor will select a potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via email. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.
6. Prizes Grand Prize (10) – Ten winners will be selected, and each will receive a voucher for a three course meal for two people at Banana Tree’s Chelmsford location. The voucher is valid exclusively at the Chelmsford branch until 20 October 2017. Pre-booking is required to redeem the voucher, and drinks are not included.
7. General Conditions The Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or terminate “Chow Down at Chelmsford” or disqualify any individual it finds to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the “Chow Down at Chelmsford” may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
